We got our start in healthcare about 10 years ago by just performing our core competencies very well. Data Protection and Disaster Recovery were two primary areas where health care payers and providers were both very sensitive to. Today, with the migration of everything to digital formats; the increasingly large file sizes being stored, transported and retrieved; and the quality of images improving dramatically, our ability to help has greatly increased. While these skills are still very necessary, we have added all aspects of security and privacy, and the requirements around HIPAA
Compliance. These areas focus on cutting costs and saving money. We also feel it is important to bring to market technologies – specific to health care that will allow these institutions to make more money, and increase patient care, and maximize staff productivity – nursing in particular.
